SYMPTOMS

  • ACQUITY System Status "Inlet Not Ready" in the inlet method
  • Hardware appears to be ready

ENVIRONMENT

  • MassLynx 4.1
  • ACQUITY UPLC
  • Xevo TQ-S Micro

CAUSE

Mismatch between the status of the hardware and the ready state within the software.

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Close MassLynx and the ACQUITY console.
  2. Restart the ACQUITY hardware.
  3. Wait a few minutes before powering-on MassLynx.
