How to duplicate the layout of the TargetLynx browser - WKB6340

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Make the TargetLynx browser layout look the same as on another PC.

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• TargetLynx
• Loads the same MassLynx SCN that is on the acquisition PC onto a desktop PC for processing only
• Wants the TargetLynx browser layout to look the same as on the acquisition PC

PROCEDURE

On the acquisition PC:

1. Open a result set file (*.qld) in the TargetLynx browser that displays the desired layout.
2. Select File > Save Layout As, and then note the TargetLynx layout file (*.qlt) name and location.
3. Click Cancel.
4. Browse to that TargetLynx layout file (*.qlt) in Windows Explorer, and then highlight and copy it to either a network or thumb drive.

On the processing PC:

1. Copy the TargetLynx layout file (*.qlt) to the MassLynx folder.
2. Open a result set file (*.qld) in the TargetLynx browser.
3. Select File > Apply Layout, and then browse to the TargetLynx layout file (*.qlt) you just saved.
4. Click Open.
5. Click File > Save.
