SYMPTOMS

• QuanOptimize gives error "There are duplicate compound names in the import file"

CAUSE

QuanOptimize reads all lines in the compound sample list, including empty lines. If there are two lines with the same compound name, including two empty lines, the duplicate compound name error message is triggered.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Avoid duplicate compound names in the compound sample list.
2. Remove all blank lines from the compound sample list before saving it.
