How to update an existing user list in OAToolkit and preserve existing information - WKB60795

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Add information to an existing user list in OAToolkit while preserving passwords and user information.

PROCEDURE

To import and export user names and password changes in OAToolkit:

1. Save your current configuration in OAToolkit (save icon).
2. We recommend that you create a copy for backup purposes. In File Manager, copy and save the C:\OAToolkit\config\OALPDPConfig.xml file.
3. In OAToolkit, select Users > Import Users…
4. In Import Method, select OALogin PC and browse to the appropriate PC and OALogin.pro.
5. In the User List, select either Create New List or Add to List, as appropriate.
6. Click OK. (The OAToolkit loads with a fresh list containing only the users from the OALogin terminal selected.)
7. Make any modifications to the user list (for example, add users, change passwords, or force password resets).
8. In OAToolkit, select Terminals > Upload.
9. Browse to the OALogin PC, and then select Upload to Selected OR
   Users > Export Users > OALPDPConfig.xml File.
10. The new, modified list of users is available on the OALogin PC.
