SYMPTOMS

• The Component Find options in the Spectrum window are dimmed (unavailable)
• Both the Menu bar drop-down options and the optional menu bar buttons are dimmed

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• MassLynx 4.2

CAUSE

The Component Find options are dependent on the Transform option being selected and licensed during MassLynx installation. If Transform was not installed, the Component Find options are disabled.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Reinstall MassLynx and select the Transform option during the reinstallation.
