ACQUITY Sample Manager is not making injections in MassLynx - WKB51893

SYMPTOMS

  • Queue does not pause
  • Status shows "Waiting on Injection"
  • Injection is never made

ENVIRONMENT

  • ACQUITY UPLC
  • ACQUITY Sample Manager
  • MassLynx

CAUSE

Bad communications or slow computer connection

Loose or bad inject start event cable

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Ensure the event cable going to the I/O phoenix connector is securely attached (replace if necessary)
  2. Close MassLynx and the MS Console.
  3. Power-off all ACQUITY modules.
  4. Reboot the PC.
  5. Once the PC reboots, power-up all modules.
  6. Once all modules boot up, open MassLynx.
