SYMPTOMS

• The message "Calibration file for the selected analysis is different to the calibration set in the tune page. The calibration for the current analysis type will be loaded" appears when opening the MS console

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• IntelliStart for quadrupole systems

CAUSE

Fault in the software

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. The message can be ignored.
2. Click OK to proceed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

In a number of SCN releases of MassLynx 4.1, once an IntelliStart calibration has been run, the following warning message appears every time you click on IntelliStart:

''Calibration file for the selected analysis is different to the calibration set in tune page. The calibration for the current analysis type will be loaded. ''

This message should only appear if a manual calibration was performed in the Tune page. Unfortunately, the message appears when you click on IntelliStart, even if no manual calibration was run. You can ignore the message.

If a user created a calibration file manually through the Tune page under Calibrate > Calibrate Instrument, this message would be expected when you open IntelliStart. If no calibration files were created manually from the Tune page, then the MassLynx revision is in the group for which this fault still exists, in which case the message can be ignored.
