SYMPTOMS

• Error message: "FractionLynx - Collection Control System Error"

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• FractionLynx - all versions
• Autopurification

CAUSE

The "Enable Collector Selector Valve" check box is selected.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1.  Deactivate Collection system.

2.  Clear the "Enable Collector Selector Valve" check box in the collector setup page.

3.  Select File.

4.  Save.

5.  Activate Collection system.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The collector selector valve is a optional valve that is purchased separately. This valve, typically a LabPro valve, is needed to add additional collectors to an existing system. Up to four additional collectors could be used.
