How to add a column to the TargetLynx report - WKB49279

OBJECTIVE or GOAL
Add a text column to the TargetLynx Sample Summary report.

PROCEDURE
This is a three-step process:
- Add the File Text column to the sample list:
a) Right-click, and then select Customize Display in the sample list.
b) Scroll down and check File Text, and then click OK. - Display the Sample Text column in the summary bar of the TargetLynx browser:
a) Right-click in the Summary bar of the TargetLynx browser and select Change Column Order.
b) Select Sample Text in the left-hand pane.
c) Click Add to move the Sample Text to the right-hand pane, and then click OK. - Add the Sample Text column to the TargetLynx Sample Summary report:
a) Select File > Report Format, and then click Sample Summary Report.
b) Right-click in the Column Format area, and then select Change Column Order.
c) Select Sample Text in the left-hand pane.
d) Click Add to move the Sample Text to the right-hand pane, and then click OK.
e) Click OK to exit the Report Format Options window.
f) Select File > Save Layout As and name the layout file (*.qlt), using only alphanumeric characters and the underscore.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Note: The field needs to be populated prior to data acquisition as the information is part of the "header" text which is created at the beginning of acquisition (ie raw data file creation) - this field can not be added retrospectively post-data acquisition.
