Acquisition PC does not boot to Windows - WKB47489

SYMPTOMS

• Computer does not boot up
• Black screen with white text gives reboot options
• None of the reboot options works

ENVIRONMENT

• All Windows based acquisition PC's

CAUSE

Failed hard drive

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the hard drive with one of the same type and size.
2. Use appropriate restore media for your version of PC / CDS
3. Reload the appropriate versions of CDS and ICS.
