Cannot remove Waters Pump Control software via Windows Control Panel - WKB3732

SYMPTOMS

• When you try to remove Waters Pump Control version 3.1 or 3.2 via Control Panel > Programs and Features, the following error appears: "WIDS_SCR_CANNOT_LAUNCH_SETUP"

ENVIRONMENT

• WPC version 3.1 or 3.2

CAUSE

Unknown

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Navigate to Start > Waters Instruments > Remove Waters Instrument Components.

   This launches the Deployment Manager application, where you can remove the Waters Pump Control software.
