How to remove or install the standalone Diversity Browser - WKB31101

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Install or uninstall the Diversity Browser program.

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• OpenLynx / OALogin / Diversity

PROCEDURE

To install the standalone Diversity Browser:

1. Insert the MassLynx DVD or browse to the MassLynx installation software.
2. Browse to  \Applications\Diversity.
3. Right-click setup.exe and choose "install as Administrator".
4. Insert or browse to the OpenLynx Browser key disk when required.
   Note: This is found on the OpenLynx/Diversity Browser DVD supplied when the license was purchased.
    

To uninstall the standalone Diversity Browser:

1. Open the Control Panel and browse to  Programs > Uninstall a program.
2. Select Waters Diversity Browser.
3. From the top menu, select Uninstall.

NOTE: You need administrator privileges to install and uninstall programs.
