SYMPTOMS

• Error: No GPIB interface recognized at address 0
• Setting up new PC with Windows 7

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• Windows 7
• National Instruments NI488.2 GPIB interface card
• NI488.2 v2.8 drivers

CAUSE

National Instrument drivers are not installed for the GPIB interface card.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Install NI488.2 rev 2.8 drivers.
