Insufficient disk space with MassLynx - WKB28719

SYMPTOMS

• Low disk space
• Runs cannot start
• Sample list hangs

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx

CAUSE

The C: drive is full because the MassLynx projects are being acquired to the C: drive.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Open the Default project in MassLynx.
2. Using Windows Explorer, move the projects from the C:\MassLynx folder to the data drive (D: or E:, depending on what is available). Be sure to cut and paste or copy and paste, and then delete from the C: drive.
3. In MassLynx, open the project from the new drive.
4. Acquire.
