How to create a shutdown method with the MassLynx column temperature off - WKB287526

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Use a shutdown method with the column temperature turned off.

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx

PROCEDURE

1. Create an inlet method with the column temperature "Off".

(Example) SM-FTN

2. Open the shutdown method. (Click Shutdown in the bottom-right of the screen to display the screen.)

On the Auto Control Task tab:

• ① select Task "LC Method".
• ② Press the "Browse" button and select the inlet method with the column temperature turned off that you created in step 1.
• ③ Press the Insert button to insert a Task.

3. Save the shutdown method by selecting File > Save as or Save.

4. On the Shutdown tab, select Enable shutdown after batch, click the "Browse" button, select the Shutdown method created in step 3, and click the Save button.
