No signal after refilling the nitrogen supply tanks - WKB27888

SYMPTOMS

• Low gas flow error message
• Nitrogen supply tanks low
• Nitrogen supply tanks refilled
• No ion beam after refilling tanks
• Found: Nitrogen gas flow in instrument OK
• Found: Source isolation valve is open
• Found: Source voltage readbacks are all correct

ENVIRONMENT

• SQ Detector (SQD)

CAUSE

Communication error

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Close MassLynx and the ACQUITY Console.
2. Run StopAcquityProcesses.cmd.
3. Reboot the MassLynx PC.
4. Log in to Windows but to not start MassLynx.
5. Push the reset button on the SQD and wait for the Operate light to go from RED to OFF.
6. Open MassLynx.
