How to quantitate or integrate a doublet in TargetLynx - WKB26422

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

When two peaks come off close to one another in the same transition, integrate both peaks as one and then quantify them in TargetLynx.

ENVIRONMENT

• TargetLynx
• MassLynx

PROCEDURE

1. Open the transition in the Chromatogram window in MassLynx.
2. Select Process > Integrate.
3. Clear the selection for ApexTrack Peak Integration.
4. Select Peak detect.
5. Adjust the parameter to obtain the integration desired. (You will most likely need Peak Separation > Draw vertical if peaks resolved to 10% above baseline.)

6. Select OK and OK.
7. If the integration is as desired, open the Integrate chromatogram window and select Copy.
8. Paste the integration parameters into the TargetLynx method (Edit > Paste).
