Open the MassLynx Inlet Method Editor.
Go to Tools > Instrument Configuration.
Hit the Configure button.
Follow the Wizard, selecting the appropriate Pump (Solvent Manager) and Autosampler (Sample Manager).
On the detector page, select up to four detectors from the list on the left and add them to the list on the right. Note: the Column Manager is configured as a detector.
On the Configure Communications page, click on Scan for Instruments. A window will populate with all the components that can be seen. Close this window.
Assign the appropriate serial number from the pull-down list next to each detector.
Click OK > Finish > Finish.
In the inlet method, go to LC > Reset Communications.
If it is open, close the ACQUITY Console, and then reopen it.
