In MassLynx, cannot inject samples because samplelist is paused - WKB26265

SYMPTOMS

• Cannot inject samples because the samplelist is paused.
• Nothing in the samplelist queue.
• System status is green and the inlet method Status indicators are green.
• No errors found.
• Restarting system clears the samplelist pausing.
• Can get system to pause by opening up the FractionLynx method and saving it, followed by opening and saving the MS method, and then opening Collection Control and resetting the beds.
• Stopping the flow in the inlet method editor window unpauses the queue.

CAUSE

Inlet method had unsupported characters (^,+, -) in the naming scheme.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Create a new method using supported characters (letters, numbers, or underscores).
