In MassLynx, inlet method editor reports missing file name - WKB234410

SYMPTOMS

• Unable to run samples; the inlet method editor says the default.bgm file is missing
• Inlet method editor says it's not ready
• ACQUITY logs show "System is not ready to perform operation"
• Hard reboot of system does not resolve issue

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• ACQUITY UPLC M-Class

CAUSE

Mismatched method files

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Check the name of the inlet method file in the sample list.
2. Open the Inlet Method Editor and browse to the same inlet method name, ensuring that it is in the correct, currently open project.
3. Load the inlet method in the Inlet Method Editor.
4. Test and run samples.
