OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Set up OALogin to print OpenLynx reports automatically with no user action or intervention.

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• OpenLynx
• OALogin

PROCEDURE

1. In OALogin, Under Admin > User Configuration > Edit Group > Printing OALogin Report File, clear the selection for Enable User Print Control.
2. To print each sample to an individual report:
   • From the OpenLynx Shortcut menu in MassLynx, go to Setup to open the OpenLynx method file (.olp).
   • On the Printing tab, select Per Sample Printing.
   • Browse in the appropriate OpenLynx Report Scheme (.ors) file.
   • Save the .olp file.
3. To print all samples to a single batch report:
   • From the OpenLynx Shortcut menu in MassLynx, go to OAManager.
   • Under the File menu, go to Print Report Format.
   • Select Print OALogin reports upon Job completion.
   • Specify an appropriate OpenLynx Report Scheme (.ors) file.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Note: Do not enable both Per Sample Printing and Print OALogin reports upon Job completion. This results in duplicate reports.
