FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Power-off the ACQUITY modules and close MassLynx.

2. Open the Waters DHCP server configuration program (found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Waters Instruments) and remove all the entries in the list by clicking on them in turn and selecting Delete.

3. Go to the Server tool in the Waters DHCP server configuration program and run the Configuration Wizard. Select the instrument LAN again and complete the wizard. Do not restart the computer.

4. Run StopAcquityProcesses.cmd (in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Waters Instruments\Bin folder).

5. Go to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Waters Instruments\Settings folder and delete all AcquitySettings.xml and AcquityInstrumentConfig.xml.

6. Reboot the PC.

7. Open the Waters DHCP server configuration program and power-on the sample manager. Confirm that IP address, Type, and Serial Number are populated. Repeat for all other ACQUITY modules.

8. Reset the Xevo by pushing some PEEK tubing into the reset hole beside the power switch and hold for about five seconds until the instrument responds and the status light goes red. Confirm that Xevo TQD populates in the Waters DHCP server configuration.

9. Open MassLynx and confirm control.
