SYMPTOMS

• ACQUITY UPLC PDA does not start acquisition upon injection
• Rebooting PDA does not resolve issue
• Rebooting PC and restarting MassLynx do not resolve issue

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC PDA
• MassLynx 4.2

CAUSE

Unknown

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Close MassLynx and the ACQUITY MS Console.
2. Run StopMasslynxProcesses.cmd, either from the desktop shortcut or from C:\Program Files (x86)\Waters Instruments\bin.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Open MassLynx.
