• LockSpray signal good in the tune page

CAUSE

Method events disabled or wrong or LockSpray properties wrong

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Open the MS method
2. Enable method events and select the correct events or select the correct LockSpray properties

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Typical method events for an LC-MS analysis using LockSpray:

LockSpray properties:

Acquire LockSpray – Apply correction: Lockmass correction applied in real time, i.e. lockmass data is centroid

Acquire LockSpray – Do not apply correction: Lockmass data is in continuum – typically set for proteomics application where data is to be processed using PLGS

No LockSpray: Acquisition will not switch to the LockSpray

Lockspray reference compound: Select the correct reference compound used for lockmass and correct mode of operation
