IntelliStart error: No transitions found - WKB209802

SYMPTOMS

• During Sample Tune and Develop Method, the precursor ion can be seen well on the tune page, and IntelliStart goes through the process of looking for fragment ions, but when finished it shows "No Transitions Found"

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo TQ-S micro
• Xevo TQ-S cronos
• MassLynx IntelliStart

CAUSE

Only Adduct A is selected. For the first time that the Sample Tune and Develop Method is used, Adducts A and B must be selected for IntelliStart to work properly. After the initial use, only Adduct A is required.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Select an adduct for both Adduct A and Adduct B.
