MassLynx error: Inlet method default pump file not found - WKB2091

SYMPTOMS

• Error "Inlet method default pump file not found"
• Same error message seen for the other inlet components in the system
• Error message appears when a new user logs in

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• MassLynx Security

CAUSE

The open sample list project is different than the project where the inlet methods are saved.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Save the inlet methods in the sample list project, browse to the inlet method in the sample list, and then close and reopen MassLynx to reset the file pointers.

1. Select File > Save As in the inlet editor.
2. Browse to the sample list project Acqudb folder.
3. Click OK.
4. Close the inlet editor.
5. Right-click the Inlet File field in the sample list.
6. Select Browse.
7. Browse to the inlet methods in the sample list project Acqudb folder saved in step 2.
8. Select Save.
9. Close MassLynx.
10. Open MassLynx.
