Can I process data using desktop versions of TargetLynx XS, such as SCN 909 or SCN 950, and then open the dataset in an older SCN? - WKB20887

Article number: 20887

ENVIRONMENT

  • MassLynx
  • TargetLynx XS

ANSWER

No. If you try to open the TargetLynx datasets (.qld files) using TargetLynx XS in older SCNs, the full dataset will not appear. The extent of missing information varies depending on which SCN version is used to process the data. To avoid the problem, upgrade to the latest SCN version that is appropriate for the system in use.

Example:

If a TargetLynx XS dataset is created in SCN 909 (Xevo TQ-S micro) or SCN 950 (Xevo TQ-S/Xevo TQ-MS) and then opened in an earlier version, such as SCN 876, SCN 905, or SCN 714, the summary table is missing large amounts of data, although the calibration curve remains unaffected.KCS_SCN_1.png
