Cannot open the MassLynx inlet method editor from the lozenge under the instrument shortcut - WKB20779

SYMPTOMS

• Selecting the inlet method editor lozenge (button) results in the blue status update bar initializing. but then nothing happens
• The inlet method editor does not open

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx

CAUSE

Unknown - possibly a corrupt project.ini file

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. In the sample list, right-click on the inlet method for the sample and select Edit. (The inlet method editor should open successfully.)
2. Exit the inlet method editor, the console, and MassLynx.
3. Open MassLynx.
4. Open the inlet method editor from the lozenge.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Try a file name shorter than 20 characters with no special characters like dashes. See WKB2435 for more limitations.
