"Desolvation heater disconnected" on Xevo TQ-XS - WKB205517

SYMPTOMS

• "Desolvation heater disconnected" message appears when injection is started
• Desolvation temperature can be maintained before the injection begins
• A few seconds after injection, the desolvation temperature gradually decreases

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo TQ-XS
• MassLynx
• SCN 1007

CAUSE

The MS tune file might be faulty.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Delete the defective MS tune file.
2. Create a new MS tune file.
