Spectrum window does not open in MassLynx - WKB2054

SYMPTOMS

When trying to combine the Chromatogram window, the Spectrum window does not open to show results
Switching projects to the Default.pro and combining the Chromatogram for the example Pest03.raw data file does open the Spectrum window
Going back to the original data file in question fails to do the same, and subsequent attempts with Pest03.raw also fail

MassLynx program possibly corrupted

1) Open the Masslynx.ini file in C:\Masslynx

2) Scroll down to or search for [SpeDisplay) (it should look something like this. The 4 value for SHOWNORMAL may differ)

Note: The value may be much larger, in the thousands placing the spectrum window off screen.

4) Hover the mouse cursor over the Masslynx icon in the system tray at the bottom of the desktop to show the Masslynx related icons for open windows

5) Right click on the Spectrum view icon and select Move from the pop up menu as shown here.

6) User the Arrow keys on the keyboard to move the Spectrum window into view. Start with the left arrow, then the Up arrow.

7) Once you can see the some portion of the spectrum view, use the mouse cursor to center and size the spectrum view approprately.

8) Close the spectrum view and Masslynx to save the position settings to the Masslynx.ini file.

Notes:

It you are unable to re-center the view using these steps, you may need to reload Masslynx.
Reloading MassLynx software is considered the last resort when addressing software issues.
The SCN 871 release notes state that "Modifying or repairing an installation is not supported".
