Spectrum window does not open in MassLynx - WKB2054

SYMPTOMS

• When trying to combine the Chromatogram window, the Spectrum window does not open to show results
• Switching projects to the Default.pro and combining the Chromatogram for the example Pest03.raw data file does open the Spectrum window
• Going back to the original data file in question fails to do the same, and subsequent attempts with Pest03.raw also fail

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1 SCN 871

CAUSE

MassLynx program possibly corrupted

FIX or WORKAROUND

Reload SCN 871.

Notes: 

• Reloading MassLynx software is considered the last resort when addressing software issues.
• The SCN 871 release notes state that "Modifying or repairing an installation is not supported".
