"Inlet method not ready" error during trapping stage for ACQUITY UPLC 2D M-Class - WKB194985

SYMPTOMS

• 2D M-Class analysis starts, but an "inlet method not ready" error appears in the MassLynx status window during the trapping stage
• The LED status lights on each module are green
• In the MS console, the system status of each module is good, without any error

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC M-Class
• MassLynx

CAUSE

The trigger method for the detector is set as Trigger by Software.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Set the trigger method for the detector as Trigger by Contact Closure.
