How to set timed events in FractionLynx - WKB1950

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Set up timed events in the fraction file (.frc).

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• FractionLynx

PROCEDURE

1. Select FractionLynx > Edit FractionLynx method > Timed Events tab.
2. Click  to insert an event.
3. Click  in the Event field below the table, and then select the event from the drop-down list.
4. Select File > Save after setting up all the necessary events.

Note: Start Collect / Stop Collect will commence at the selected time, regardless of what is going on. It's absolute.
Enable Collect / Disable Collect will finish a task (such as collecting a peak if it is occurring at the designated time) before changing state. It won't look for any other peaks, but it will continue to collect if it was doing that before the specified time.
