BackLynx does not run on certain MassLynx 4.2 SCNs with Full Security - WKB191832

SYMPTOMS
- After launching and logging in to BackLynx, setting the project folder to backup, and hitting Run and specifying the correct credentials, BackLynx does not actually run, and no files or folders are copied
- No error is generated or logged
ENVIRONMENT
- MassLynx 4.2 SCN 1012 with Full Security
- MassLynx 4.2 SCN 1017 with Full Security
- MassLynx 4.2 SCN 1018 with Full Security
- MassLynx 4.2 SCN 1019 with Full Security
- MassLynx 4.2 SCN 1024 with Full Security
- MassLynx 4.2 SCN 1004 with Full Security
- Lenovo P520 or P720
CAUSE
MassLynx Backup service was not created during the installation. Attempts to create the service manually or run the BackLynxService.exe manually as a separate process fail. Reported as CRI-3227.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Fixed in SCN 1035
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
BackLynx works as expected in the above SCNs without security.
