How do I move the SystemQC.Pro from the MassLynx directory? - WKB191496

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Reduce the size of the SystemQC.Pro contents to free up drive space, but ensure that LC-MS checks continue to function.

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx

PROCEDURE

1. Make a copy of the current SystemQC.Pro and then rename it (such as old_SystemQC.Pro). This old version of the project can be removed from the current drive and exported to a server location. 
2. In the new SystemQC.Pro, do the following (this will ensure that space is freed up):

• Remove/delete all the files in the data folder.
• Remove/delete all files in the SampleDB folder, except untitled.ors (it may have a different name on your system).
• Remove/delete all .olp files from LC-MS check (keep base SystemQC.olp and Instrument QC.olp).
• Remove/delete all .xml files.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The SystemQC.Pro must remain under  <local install drive> (typically C:\) MassLynx\.
