No data or results show up in TargetLynx after adding new compounds to an existing TargetLynx method - WKB191848

SYMPTOMS

• MS data acquired with a method that has six compounds
• Data are processed successfully with TargetLynx method for the same six compounds
• Nine additional compounds are added to the MS method and to the TargetLynx method
• No data or results show up on the TargetLynx results

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• TargetLynx XS

CAUSE

The new TargetLynx method with 15 compounds was linked to the original MS method with the six compounds, resulting in a mismatch of function numbers.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Open the TargetLynx method.
2. Click the Browse button to the right of the Link MS method file name.
3. Browse to the MS method file that corresponds to the TargetLynx method.
4. Click Yes to update the function numbers.
