UNIFI freezes when trying to save an analysis - WKB18951

SYMPTOMS

  • Trying to save an analysis, but no status change after two hours; system is frozen
  • Backups are not running
  • There's plenty of hard-drive space on the computer

ENVIRONMENT

  • UNIFI 1.8.2. (workstation configuration)

CAUSE

Unknown

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Force-quit the UNIFI portal.
  2. Stop the Waters Service Host service.
  3. Restart the Waters Service Host service and wait for all eight watservicehost processes to appear.
  4. Log back in to UNIFI and test.
