Cannot acquire in MassLynx; a SampleListInterface.txt error message appears - WKB16233

SYMPTOMS

• As soon as the run starts, the following error message appears:

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• Windows 7

CAUSE

Windows is creating a system restore point during data acquisition.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Do not create system restore points while acquiring MassLynx data.
2. Disable the system restore. Refer to How to disable the System Restore program in Windows
3. Either create the restore points manually or set the automatic restore point creation to occur when data is not being acquired. (Usually company IT-controlled)
