How to set TargetLynx integration parameters so a small peak in the blank is not integrated - WKB16159

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Remove a small, unwanted peak in the blank so that it is not integrated and the area field in the summary table will be empty (blank).

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• TargetLynx

PROCEDURE

In TargetLynx:

1. Select Edit Method.
2. Click the Integration Properties icon.
3. Enable Threshold Absolute Area.
4. Set the value slightly larger than the area of the unwanted peak.
5. Set Propagate Integration Parameters to No if this applies to only one compound.
6. Select File > Save.
7. Reprocess the data.
