Acquisition starts, but MassLynx does not inject LCMS sample - WKB1384

SYMPTOMS

• Sample is not injected
• Mass spectrometer goes straight to acquisition instead of waiting for inject start
• Sample list needs to be aborted to get first line of sample list to stop running

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx

CAUSE

• The events/triggering standard configuration is not working correctly.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Go to Inlet Editor > Tools > Instrument Configuration > Events & Triggering.
2. Change the normal configuration of the events/triggering setting from event in 1 to event in 2.
3. Alternatively, change the Trigger options (can be "Trigger by Software" or "Trigger by Contact Closure", depending on the instrument).
