Error: Unable to complete execution of shutdown, failed to LC method - WKB1293

SYMPTOMS

• Shutdown method does not work consistently
• Error message: "Unable to complete execution of shutdown, failed to LC method"

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1 SCN 919

CAUSE

Timing and arrangement of method tasks do not allow the LC method that contains the gradient shutdown parameters to run to completion before the next event begins. This causes the LC method to fail, which leaves the LC pump running.

FIX or WORKAROUND

 Change the arrangement of the method tasks, as well as the time of the pre- and post-delays.
