Open more than 16 TIC traces simultaneously in MassLynx.

PROCEDURE

When opening a chromatogram in MassLynx, it may be that either only one or only the first 16 MRM traces are opened. This is due to the following setting, which can be found at Tools > Options > Chromatograms to Display:

When the box "Show All Functions" is activated, MassLynx will actually open the first 16 MRM functions of the MS method. When more functions are acquired, the additional functions can be opened in the same view as follows:

1. Open the chromatogram of a specific injection.
2. The first 16 functions will be opened as is shown (the function numbers are shown in the top-right corner of each chromatogram).
   
3. Click on menu item "Display" and then "Tic".
4. Select for instance function number 17 with a left-click, and while holding the left button, drag down to the last function you want to have opened:
   
5. Make sure to select "add trace" and click OK. The additional functions will be included in the same chromatogram window.

Not too many functions should be opened simultaneously. Keep it at a maximum of about 80 in the same chromatogram view. For additional functions, it is best to open a separate chromatogram window.
