ANSWER

No. MassLynx must be closed first.

PC users should not log off or switch to another Windows user when MassLynx is running.

Switching of Windows users causes all MassLynx executables to unexpectedly crash, and therefore communications to the MS may be lost. Switching users during MassLynx data acquisition is likely to result in the loss of the data file that is being acquired.
 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Switching users is supported inside MassLynx Security, but again, it is only possible if the desktop Windows login is not changed.
