Poor sensitivity with TQD - WKB101894

SYMPTOMS

• Poor sensitivity with TQD
• Checked with the Setup or SetupQP reagent by infusion, the sensitivity is 1/10 or less of the normal value with the “RF lens” set to 0. Increasing the “RF lens” value such as 2 will increase the sensitivity 10 times or more.

CAUSE

Hexapol contamination

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Clean/replace the source block and hexapole and set the “RF lens” to 0, the sensitivity also increase.
