"Unable to load LC Instrument method in report" message in report method - WKB99882

SYMPTOMS

• "Unable to load LC Instrument method in report" message in report method
• The instrument method is completely blank, with no module or parameter information
• Changed flow rate and used File > Save As; the original method looks good, but after changing the flow rate, the new instrument method is empty

ENVIRONMENT

• Agilent Instrument Control Framework v2.2
• Empower 3 Enterprise FR1 and below

CAUSE

Unknown

FIX or WORKAROUND

Create a new instrument method instead of using File > Save As.

This issue is not reproducible in ICF 3.0 and above.
