After migrating to a new domain and creating new Empower usernames, it is no longer possible to use existing view filters - WKB99830
Article number: 99830
SYMPTOMS
- Because of the need to create new Empower usernames to comply with the new username naming convention, it is no longer possible for users to access previously developed view filters
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower
CAUSE
Empower currently works as expected. By design, Empower users cannot see the private view filters of other users. Currently, only users with the built-in Administrator privilege can see all view filters.
FIX or WORKAROUND
An administrator can save any identified view filters and save them as public versions.
OR
Users can recreate the necessary view filters and then copy them to the required projects.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
CRI-2154 documents the request to make view filter management privileges more granular so that the built-in Administrator user type is not required to be assigned to a user to view or manage all view filters.
