How can I reset an Empower Admin account password? - WKB9583

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

  • Reset the Empower System account password
  • Reset Empower administrator account

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower 3 all platforms

PROCEDURE

  1. Use another admin account in the Empower Configuration Manager to reset the locked account.
  2. If there is no other admin account available, contact Waters Expert Center
  3. Have a remote Internet connection available to the computer that hosts the Empower database. (See also: WKB8140)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  1. A disclaimer must be signed and returned by the customer that provides Waters with authorization to unlock the account(s) by direct edits to the database.
  2. A PO is required for 1/2 day of Consultancy Service (0,5 x p/n 741003400) before Waters can carry out the actions
