SYMPTOMS
- Unable to process data collected from a Thermo system (this issue apparently applies to various instrumentation, such as Thermo GC or HPLC/IC)
- Error message: "No Channels to clear from Method Set"
- Method set has an instrument method specified
- Channel names are correctly reported in the method set/processing method

FIX or WORKAROUND
Remove the Clear Calibration line from the sample set itself and use the Clear Calibration option when performing batch processing. (If the sample set has already been acquired, perform Alter Sample from the Sample Set tab in the Project window.)
Second option : In the Method Set, create a derived channel, type the name of this channel in the table and select a processing method.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
SII v1.1 release notes mention some functions that should not be used, such as condition column, equilibrate, inject immediate standards, and inject immediate samples, but clear calibration is not mentioned specifically.
