SYMPTOMS

• Intermittent time difference when processing or acquiring data
• Data set is not integrated when processing 
• Errors "Raw data file XXXX does not match database entry" and "There is a time difference between the client and the server" in message center
• Rebooting the server fixes the issue temporarily
• DBRM seeing time stalls or reversals; scheduling suspended
  DBRM no longer seeing time stalls or reversals; scheduling resumed
  Warning: VKTM detected a time drift

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower Enterprise 

CAUSE

The BIOS time zone does not match Oracle.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Correct the BIOS time zone to match Empower software.
