ICS Companion service does not start on LAC/E32 with Empower 3 installed - WKB88993

SYMPTOMS

• ICS Companion service does not start
• Waterservice, which depends on the ICS Companion, does not start
• Deployment Manager "Repair" utility freezes

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Enterprise
• LAC/E32

CAUSE

Drivers from multiple driver pack versions are installed concurrently on the LAC/E32.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Uninstall all drivers using the Deployment Manager.
2. Reinstall the correct driver pack version.
