Error: InEditor MFC Application has stopped working - WKB87673

SYMPTOMS

• Error "InEditor MFC Application has stopped working" when you try to open the instrument method
• This happens on the 2d Citrix server but not on the 3rd Citrix server

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Workgroup
• Empower 3 Enterprise
• ACQUITY APC
• ACQUITY Arc
• ACQUITY UPLC
• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class
• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class

CAUSE

The solvent name is the same as the Alias.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Copy the solventlibrary.xml file from the good Citrix server to the problem Citrix server.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The issue is that the solvent name is the same as the Alias. Look in the solventlibrary.xml file (C: > Empower > Instruments > Settings) and search for Alias. If you find that the solvent name is the same as the Alias, change the solvent name to something else.
